Pea salad will never be the same old thing. Try this salad with fresh peas and beans in the summer. Serve with your favorites off the grill.

Sherried Peas and Beans Salad

1 (10-ounce) package frozen green peas
1 (10-ounce) package frozen cut green beans
4 tablespoons dry sherry
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 teaspoon dry ginger
2 tablespoons sliced green onion
2 tablespoons diced red bell pepper
  1. Cook vegetables according to package directions; drain and let cool; place in medium bowl.
  2. In a small jar with tight-fitting lid, shake together the sherry, soy sauce, sesame oil and ginger.
  3. Drizzle dressing over vegetables; garnish with green onion and red pepper. If made ahead, cover and refrigerate.

Makes 4 servings.
