Sherried Peas and Beans Salad
English pea salad will never be the same—try this salad with fresh peas and beans in the summer.
Recipe Ingredients:
1 (10-ounce) package frozen green peas
1 (10-ounce) package frozen cut green beans
4 tablespoons dry sherry
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 teaspoon dry ginger
2 tablespoons sliced green onion
2 tablespoons diced red bell pepper
Cooking Directions:
- Cook vegetables according to package directions; drain and let cool; place in medium bowl.
- In a small jar with tight-fitting lid, shake together the sherry, soy sauce, sesame oil and ginger.
- Drizzle dressing over vegetables; garnish with green onion and red pepper. If made ahead, cover and refrigerate.
