Souperburger Sandwiches

1 pound ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1 (10.75-ounce) can condensed cheddar cheese soup, undiluted
2 tablespoons tomato ketchup
1/8 teaspoon black ground pepper
6 sesame seed buns, split and toasted
  1. Using a 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat, cook beef and onion until beef is browned and onion is tender, stirring to break up meat. Spoon off and discard fat.
  2. Stir in soup, ketchup and pepper. Heat thoroughly over low heat, stirring occasionally. Serve on buns.

Makes 6 servings.
