
Herbed Lemon-Garlic Marinade
Fresh herbs from the garden give an extra burst of flavor to this basic marinade. Experiment with other herb combinations.
Recipe Ingredients:
3 tablespoons olive oil
3 tablespoons lemon juice
3 tablespoons water
1 teaspoon grated lemon peel
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 teaspoons dried thyme
2 teaspoons rosemary
2 teaspoons sage savory
2 teaspoons marjoram
Salt and ground black pepper, to taste
Cooking Directions:
- Stir together all ingredients. Marinate meat 2 to 24 hours in refrigerator. Discard any leftover marinade.
Makes a heaping 1/2 cup.
