Creamy with a lemony edge,
this basic dressing works equally well on salads or over fish.
Experiment by adding some chopped fresh herbs, minced garlic
or chopped cucumber.
Honey-Lemon
Salad Dressing
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup honey
2 tablespoons lemon juice
- In a small bowl, whip
together mayonnaise and cream until it forms soft peaks. Set
aside.
- In a small mixing bowl,
combine honey with lemon juice. Beat with electric mixer on medium
speed. Add mayonnaise mixture and beat on low speed until blended.
Makes about 1 cup.
