Jezebel was a crafty, scheming woman and this basting sauce certainly does her justice: the sweetness of the fruit disguises the bite of horseradish underneath. Try this on chicken or pork at your next barbecue.

Jezebel Sauce

1 (16-ounce) jar pineapple jam
1 (16-ounce) jar apple jelly
1 (5-ounce) jar prepared mustard
1 (5-ounce) jar prepared horseradish
  1. Combine pineapple jam, apple jelly, mustard and horseradish. Use as a basting sauce or marinade.

Makes about 5 cups.
