This fresh and fruity cranberry
sauce is a great make-ahead side dish for Thanksgiving. No cooking
is needed, just mix well and refrigerate.
Pineapple-Strawberry
Cranberry Sauce
- 1 (12-ounce) package fresh
cranberries, rinsed and picked over
1 (8-ounce.) can crushed pineapple
3/4 cup orange juice
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 (3.5-ounce) package strawberry gelatin
- Crush or finely chop cranberries.
Place in a medium, nonreactive bowl with pineapple (undrained),
orange juice, sugar and gelatin. Stir well. Cover and refrigerate
24 hours before serving.
Makes 4 cups.
