Wonderful served with ham.

Savory Apricot Sauce

1 (17-ounce) can apricots in syrup
1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon prepared brown mustard
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 garlic clove
1/2 cup chopped dried apricot
1 tablespoon butter
  1. In a blender or food processor combine apricots in syrup, brown sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, prepared brown mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic clove. Process until smooth. Pour the mixture into a saucepan and stir in chopped dried apricots. Cook, stirring, until thickened, about 2 minutes.
  2. Remove from the heat and stir in butter.

Makes approximately 3 cups.
