Breaded Basa Fillets

Recipe Ingredients:
1 pound Basa fillets*
2 tablespoons milk,
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1/4 teaspoon each; garlic powder, celery salt
1 large egg, lightly beaten
1/3 cup fine, dry bread crumbs
1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Olive oil, as needed
Cooking Directions:
- Combine milk, soy sauce, garlic powder, celery salt and egg in shallow dish; mix well. Add fish, turn to coat. Refrigerate for 15 minutes.
- Remove fish from marinade; discard. Combine bread crumbs and cheese in zip-top plastic bag. Add fish fillets; shake to coat.
- Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a large skillet. Add 2 pieces fish; cook 3 minutes each side or until fish flakes easily with a fork. Repeat procedure with remaining fish. Serve garnished with lemon wedges.
Makes 4 servings.
*Or, substitute with catfish fillets.
