Florida Picolata Shrimp

Recipe Ingredients:
1 pound Florida shrimp, peeled and deveined
4 tablespoons water
3 tablespoons chile sauce
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 1/2 teaspoons cornstarch
1 teaspoon Florida honey
1/2 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1/2 cup sliced Florida green onions
4 cloves Florida garlic, minced
1 teaspoon grated fresh gingerroot
2 cups hot cooked rice
Chopped flat-leaf parsley for garnish
Cooking Directions:
- Rinse shrimp; pat dry with paper towels. Set aside.
- Combine water, chili sauce, soy sauce, cornstarch, honey, and hot pepper sauce. Mix well. Set aside.
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add onions, garlic, ginger and shrimp; sauté for 3 minutes Stir sauce and pour over shrimp mixture. Cook over medium-heat, stirring constantly, 3 to 4 minutes or until shrimp are no longer translucent in the center.
- Serve over rice; sprinkle with parsley.
