Seconds Away Spaghetti Casino

Recipe Ingredients:

6 ounces pepper-crusted bacon, roughly chopped
32 small Virginia clams (about 3 pound), rinsed and scrubbed under cold water
1 1/2 tablespoons minced garlic
8 ounces dried spaghetti, cooked
1/2 cup coarsely chopped parsley
1/2 cup shaved or grated Parmesan cheese

Cooking Directions:

  1. Heat a large sauté pan over medium heat. Stir in bacon and cook for 4 to 5 minutes until crisp. Stir in clams and garlic, cover and cook for 4 minutes or until clams have opened.
  2. Toss in spaghetti and parsley and heat through. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese just before serving.

Makes 4 servings.
