Oyster Stuffing

Oyster StuffingClassic oyster stuffing made easy by using prepared canned oysters and quick to make stuffing mix.

Recipe Ingredients:

1/2 cup butter
3/4 cup chopped celery
3/4 cup chopped onion
1 (8-ounce) can whole oysters
2 2/3 cups reduced sodium chicken broth
2 (6-ounce) packages STOVE TOP Herb Stuffing Mix

Cooking Directions:

  1. Melt butter on medium heat in large saucepan.
  2. Add celery and onions. Cook and stir 8 to 10 minutes or until vegetables are tender-crisp.
  3. Meanwhile, drain oysters, reserving liquid. Chop oysters; set aside.
  4. Add broth and reserved liquid from oysters to saucepan. Heat on medium heat to boiling. Stir in STOVE TOP and chopped oysters. Cover pan; remove from heat. Let stand 5 minutes. Fluff mixture with a fork before placing in a serving bowl.

Makes 10 servings.
