Packer Potatoes

No recipe image available.An easy cheesy hash brown casserole made creamier with processed cheese, topped with sautéed onions.

Recipe Ingredients:

1 pound frozen hash brown potatoes
4 tablespoons butter - divided use
1/4 pound Wisconsin Processed cheese, sliced
1/2 cup chopped onion

Cooking Directions:

  1. Fry hash browns in 2 tablespoons butter.
  2. Layer cheese over hot potatoes.
  3. Sauté onions in remaining butter. Serve over potatoes.

Makes 6 servings.
