Roasted Asparagus

1 pound asparagus
2 tablespoons olive oil
5 cloves garlic, minced
Salt, optional to taste
Lemon juice to taste or use raspberry vinegar to taste
  1. Wash asparagus and cut off tough ends of stalks. Toss with olive oil and mix in minced garlic and salt. Spread on oiled cookie sheet.
  2. Bake in oven 375°F. for 20 to 30 minutes, turning after 10 minutes. Cooking time will vary according to how thick the asparagus is and how done you prefer them.
  3. Serve with a sprinkling of lemon juice or raspberry vinegar.
