Preparation time can be cut if using frozen snow peas. Serve these glazed peas with dinners featuring Cranberry-Glazed Pork Roast or with a simple meal of Peppered Pork Chops.

Sauteed Sugar Peas

1 tablespoon butter
1 1/2 cups fresh snow peas, or 2 (6-ounce) packages frozen snow peas, thawed
1 teaspoon granulated sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  1. In large skillet melt butter over medium-high heat; stir in snow peas; cook and stir for 2 to 3 minutes, until peas are crisp-tender. Stir in sugar, salt and pepper, toss well. Serve immediately.

Serves 4.
