This creamy potato soup
is great to warm you during a cold winters' day. Submitted by

German Potato
Soup
- 6 cups russet potatoes,
peeled and diced
3/4 cup chopped green onions
1/3 cup shredded carrots
1/4 cup minced celery
1 pint heavy whipping cream
3 tablespoons chicken base
1/4 pound butter
- Boil potatoes, carrots,
green onions and celery until potatoes are fork tender, about
15 minutes. Then add cream, soup base and butter. Stir until
soup becomes very creamy.
Season to taste with salt and cracked black pepper.
Makes 10 servings.
