Lasso your family and treat them to this quick and satisfying hearty chowder. Start with canned black bean soup and transform it into something special. Garnish with cheddar cheese and serve with tortilla chips.

Sombrero Black Bean Chowder

1 (19-ounce) can black bean soup
1 (14.5-ounce) can diced tomatoes
1 cup loose-pack frozen corn
1 (4-ounce) can ORTEGA® Diced Green Chiles
1/2 cup ORTEGA Salsa - Homestyle Recipe (Mild)
1/4 cup chopped onion
1 clove garlic, finely chopped
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese, optional
1 cup tortilla chips, optional
  1. COMBINE soup, tomatoes, corn, chiles, salsa, onion, garlic and chili powder in medium saucepan. Bring to a boil; reduce heat to low. Cook 10 minutes. Serve with cheese. Garnish with tortilla chips.
