
Three Cheese Baked Pasta with Turkey
A cheesy layered pasta dish made with penne pasta, cooked turkey and spaghetti sauce. Serve with tossed green salad and crusty bread. A great recipe for leftover holiday turkey.
Recipe Ingredients:
No-stick cooking spray
2 cups uncooked dry penne pasta
6 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese - divided use
1 cup ricotta cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese - divided use
1 (26.5-ounce) jar spaghetti sauce
2 cups chopped cooked Butterball® Turkey
Cooking Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Spray 13×9-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
- Cook pasta according to package directions; rinse and drain. Meanwhile, mix 1 cup of the mozzarella cheese, the ricotta cheese and 1/4 cup of the Parmesan cheese in medium bowl; set aside.
- Spread 1/2 cup of the spaghetti sauce on bottom of prepared dish. Top with half each of the pasta, cheese mixture, turkey and remaining spaghetti sauce. Repeat layers. Sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese and remaining 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese.
- Bake 30 minutes, or until hot and bubbly. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
