Simply Sensational Veal Chops
Grilled or broiled, these veal chops couldn't be more simple to season with fresh herbs. Choose your favorite to sprinkle atop after the first turn.
Recipe Ingredients:
4 well trimmed veal rib or loin chops, cut 1-inch thick (approximately 8 ounces each)
Salt and pepper, to taste
Chopped fresh herbs, such as basil, thyme, chives, rosemary or oregano
Cooking Directions:
- To Grill: Season chops with salt and pepper and place on grid over medium, ash-covered coals. Grill, uncovered, 12 to 14 minutes for medium doneness, turning once and sprinkling with your choice of fresh chopped herbs after turning.
- To Broil: Season chops with salt and pepper and place chops on rack in broiler pan so surface of meat is 4-inches from heat. Broil 14 to 16 minutes for medium doneness, turning once and sprinkling with your choice of fresh chopped herbs after turning.
