Chili Lime Popcorn Snack Mix

Chili Lime Popcorn Snack MixFor a tasty, low-fat snack, try this chili and lime seasoned popcorn using Brewer's yeast—which adds a cheese-like flavor without adding calories or fat.

Recipe Ingredients:

2 quarts popped popcorn
2 teaspoons brewer’s yeast powder (or nutritional yeast)*
2 teaspoons lime juice
1 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon salt

Cooking Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. Spread popcorn on a baking sheet.
  3. Sprinkle yeast powder, lime juice, chili powder and salt over popcorn.
  4. Heat about 7 minutes and toss just before serving. Serve warm.

Makes 2 quarts; 8 (1 cup) servings.
