Garlic Pesto Pea Hummus
The word is out, hummus is no longer just for health nuts. This versatile, healthy spread is packed with protein and easy to whip up.
Recipe Ingredients:
1 (15-ounce) can DEL MONTE® 50% Less Salt Sweet Peas, drained
1/4 cup chopped sweet white onion
1 clove garlic
3 tablespoons prepared pesto
3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
Pita wedges or pita chips for accompaniment
Cooking Directions:
- Combine ingredients in food processor. Process until smooth.
- Serve with pita wedges or pita chips.
Makes 8 servings.
