Leave small bits of avocado unmashed for a chunkier texture, if desired.
2 ripe avocados
3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1/2 cup diced onion
3 tablespoons chopped tomato
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons minced fresh cilantro
Tabasco brand hot pepper sauce to taste
- Cut avocados in half and remove seeds. Scoop out pulp and place in a bowl. Drizzle the pulp with lemon juice and mash. Combine with remaining ingredients, mix well.
- Serve with tortilla or corn chips or cut-up fresh vegetables.
Makes about 2 1/2 cups.
