Sweet and Sour Smoked Sausage Bites
For a quick and easy appetizer, simply simmer slices of smoked sausage in ready-to-use sweet and sour sauce.
Recipe Ingredients:
1 tablespoon light olive oil1 (14-ounce) package Butterball® Smoked Turkey Dinner Sausage, vertically cut into 2 pieces
1 (8.5-ounce) bottle sweet and sour sauce
Cooking Directions:
- Heat oil in a large skillet on medium heat. Brown sausage on all sides. Remove; cut sausage into 1/2-inch thick pieces.
- Return sausage to skillet. Add sweet and sour sauce. Bring to a simmer on medium heat. Cook 3 to 5 minutes , stirring frequently, until sausage is heat through. Serve sausage in sauce.
