Peanut Butter Chocolate Layer Bars

Peanut Butter Chocolate Layer BarsThese peanut butter and chocolate layer bars are outrageously good...and they're easy to make!

Recipe Ingredients:

2 cups crushed peanut butter sandwich cookies (about 20)
3 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
1 1/4 cups dry-roasted peanuts, chopped
1 cup (6 ounces) NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels
1 cup sweetened flaked coconut
1 (14-ounce) can NESTLÉ® CARNATION® Sweetened Condensed Milk

Cooking Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease 13x9x2-inch baking pan.
  2. Combine cookie crumbs and butter in small bowl; press onto bottom of prepared baking pan. Layer peanuts, morsels and coconut over crumb mixture; drizzle sweetened condensed milk evenly over top.
  3. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until coconut is golden brown. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Cut into bars.

Makes 24 bars.
