Asian Barbecue Steak

Recipe Ingredients:

Marinade:
1/2 cup ketchup
1/4 cup chopped green onions
1/4 cup hoisin sauce
1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger

2 (8-ounce) beef round sirloin tip side steaks or petite steaks, cut 1-inch thick

Cooking Directions:

  1. Combine marinade ingredients; remove and refrigerate 1/2 cup. Marinate beef steaks in remaining marinade in refrigerator 6 hours or as long as overnight.
  2. Remove steaks; discard marinade.
  3. Place steaks on grid over medium, ash-covered coals. Grill, covered, 12 to 14 minutes for medium rare doneness, turning once. (Do not overcook.) Carve steaks.
  4. Serve with reserved marinade.
