Spicy Lemon Pesto Flat Iron Steaks

1/3 cup basil pesto sauce
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 teaspoons grated lemon peel
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper
4 beef shoulder top blade steaks (Flat Iron) (6 to 8 ounces each)
3 large cloves garlic, minced
- Combine pesto ingredients.
- Press garlic onto beef steaks. Place steaks on grid over medium, ash-covered coals.
- Grill, covered, 10 to 14 minutes for medium rare to medium well, turning once.
- Season with salt. Serve with pesto.
