Banana Smoothie

No recipe image available.Start your day off with this creamy, wheat germ-fortified banana smoothie.

Recipe Ingredients:

1 cup plain yogurt
1 ripe banana, sliced
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon wheat germ
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
Additional banana slices (optional)
Whipped cream (optional)
Chopped peanuts (optional)

Cooking Directions:

  1. Combine all ingredients in blender container. Cover and blend until smooth and frothy.
  2. Garnish with whipped cream and chopped peanuts or a banana slice.

Makes 1 serving.
