Goin' Bananas Smoothie
What could be easier? Cold milk and a frozen banana create a thick and creamy smoothie that's as simple to make as it is yummy -- plus it's good for you, too! (And kids love it!)
1 1/2 cups 2% milk
1 medium frozen banana, broken into chunks
2 teaspoons granulated or brown sugar, honey or other sweetener, as desired
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- In a blender, combine milk, frozen banana, sugar, and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth, about 20 seconds.
- Pour into glasses and serve immediately.
Makes 2 servings.
