Grape and Green Tea Antioxidant Smoothie

Grape and Green Tea Antioxidant SmoothieIcy, cool and refreshing, this green grape, green tea and pineapple smoothie makes a great afternoon pick-me-up snack.

Recipe Ingredients:

1 cup California green seedless grapes, rinsed
1/2 cup cold water
1/2 cup diced pineapple
1/2 cup ice cubes
2 teaspoons sweetened green tea powder*

Cooking Directions:

  1. Combine grapes, water, pineapple, ice cubes and green tea powder in a blender. Purée all ingredients in blender until smooth.

Makes 1 serving.

*If green tea is unavailable, substitute 1/2 cup tepid brewed green tea and 1 teaspoon granulated sugar for the water and green tea powder.
