Warm Orchard Wassail

Warm up from the winter cold with a festive mug of spiced cranberry and apple wassail.

Recipe Ingredients:

1 (64-ounce) bottle Ocean Spray® Premium 100% Juice Cranberry and Red Delicious Blend
1/4 cup granulated sugar, optional
3 (3-inch) cinnamon sticks
1 teaspoon whole allspice
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Orange slices for garnish
Whole cloves for garnish

Cooking Directions:

1. Combine all ingredients, except garnishes in a large saucepan. Heat to boiling, reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes. Strain punch to remove spices.
2. Place in a heat proof punch bowl. Garnish with additional cinnamon sticks or orange slices studded with cloves, if desired.
   

Makes 12 (6-ounce) servings.
