Pound Cake

No recipe image available.A rich and buttery, whole wheat pound cake flavored with three natural sweeteners, honey, pure maple syrup and molasses.

Recipe Ingredients:

1 cup butter
1/4 cup honey
1/2 cup maple syrup
2 tablespoons pure molasses
4 large eggs
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 cup milk
3 cups whole wheat flour
1 teaspoon baking powder

Cooking Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together butter, honey, maple syrup, molasses, and eggs. Add vanilla, lemon juice, and milk. Beat in whole wheat flour and baking powder. Pour into greased and floured loaf pans.
  3. Bake for 25 to 35 minutes.

Makes 12 servings.
