Chicken Burritos

Chicken BurritosHere's a quick and easy chicken burrito filling that makes a satisfying busy-day meal.

Recipe Ingredients:

1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast halves, cut into 2-inch strips
1 1/4 cups water
1 (1.5-ounce) package ORTEGA Taco Seasoning Mix
8 (10-inch) burrito-size flour tortillas, warmed

Optional Toppings: Shredded cheddar cheese, shredded lettuce, chopped green onions, sliced olives and salsa

Cooking Directions:

  1. Heat vegetable oil in large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken; cook for 3 to 4 minutes or until no longer pink. Add water and seasoning mix. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low; cook for 3 to 4 minutes or until mixture thickens.
  2. Spoon chicken mixture evenly over tortillas. Top with shredded cheddar cheese, shredded lettuce, chopped green onions, sliced olives and salsa, if desired. Fold into burritos.

Makes 8 servings.
