Berry Chocolate Yogurt Pops
Young and old alike will enjoy these cool and yummy berry yogurt pops laced with miniature chocolate chips. The perfect fun treat to serve on a hot summer's day.
Recipe Ingredients:
2 cups Ocean Spray® Cranberry Juice Cocktail (or Light Cranberry Juice Cocktail), chilled
1 cup strawberry yogurt
2 1/2 cups frozen whole strawberries
2 tablespoons powdered sugar, if desired
1/4 cup mini chocolate chips
Supplies:
8 6 ounce paper cups or plastic freezer pop mold
8 craft sticks
Cooking Directions:
- Put all ingredients, except chocolate chips, in a blender. Blend on high speed until smooth.
- Pour 1/2 cup of berry mixture into paper cups or freezer pop mold. Freeze 30 minutes or until slightly slushy.
- Stir 1 teaspoon chocolate chips into each cup. Insert wooden craft sticks in center. Freeze and an additional 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until completely firm.
- To serve, peel paper cup away form pop, or dip outsides of molds in warm water to loosen. For longer storage, place frozen pops in a large resealable freezer bag. Freeze up to 2 weeks.
Makes 8 pops.
