Quick Holiday Custard
Quick and very easy, blender-mixed and then baked vanilla custard with a hint of nutmeg.
3 large eggs
1 (12-ounce) can evaporated milk
1 cup granulated sugar
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
3 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Combine all ingredients in a blender and process until smooth.
- Pour into a greased and floured 9-inch pie plate.
- Bake until set and light brown about 40 to 45 minutes.
