Rice Pudding Sundaes

No recipe image available.Top scoops of thick, creamy rice pudding with your favorite sundae toppings.

Recipe Ingredients:

Pudding:
3 cups cooked rice
3 cups milk
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Suggested Sundae Toppings: Fresh fruit (bananas, strawberries, peaches, blueberries, etc.) hot fudge, chocolate chips, colored sprinkles, crushed oreo cookies, chopped nuts, whipped cream, maraschino cherries

Cooking Directions:

  1. For Pudding: Combine rice, milk, sugar, salt and butter 3-quart saucepan. Cook over medium heat until thickened, 25 to 30 minutes, stirring often. Add vanilla. Chill.
  2. To Make Sundaes: Use an ice cream scoop to make 3 small scoops of chilled rice pudding. Place in a sundae dish and top with desired toppings.

Makes 6 servings.
