Banana-Raspberry Smoothie

Banana-Raspberry SmoothieThis recipe, when compared to a full fat, full sugar version represents a 26% reduction in total calories, a 40% reduction in fat, a 25% reduction in total carbohydrates and a 37% reduction in sugars.

Recipe Ingredients:

1 large ripe banana, sliced
5 packets Splenda® No Calorie Sweetener
1/2 cup reduced fat milk
1 1/4 cups frozen unsweetened raspberries

Cooking Directions:

  1. Place sliced banana on a plate and freeze for 10 minutes or until slightly firm.
  2. Combine all the ingredients in the jar of a blender. Blend on medium speed until smooth. Pour into glasses and enjoy.

Makes 2 (8-ounce) servings.
