Cantaloupe Aqua Fresca
This delicious and nutritious, cantaloupe-infused water beverage makes a refreshing drink on a hot summer's day.
Recipe Ingredients:
1/2 cantaloupe, peeled, seeded, and cubed
4 cups water - divided use
1/3 cup Splenda® Granulated No Calorie Sweetener
2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
Optional garnishes: cantaloupe wedges, lime slices
Cooking Directions:
- Process cantaloupe and 1 cup water in a blender just long enough to make a coarse pulp; pour into a large pitcher. Add remaining 3 cups water, Splenda® Granulated Sweetener, and lime juice, stirring until sweetener dissolves. Serve over crushed ice. Garnish, if desired.
