Bean and Sausage Cassoulet
Quick and easy, this tasty skillet meal is sure to please.
2 cups (about 12 ounces) thinly sliced smoked sausage
3 (15-ounce) cans Great Northern or pinto beans, rinsed and drained
1 (14.5-ounce) can stewed tomatoes, undrained
1/2 cup warm water
1 teaspoon MAGGI Instant Chicken Flavor Bouillon
1 teaspoon dried Italian seasonings
- Cook sausage in large saucepan over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, for 2 to 3 minutes or until sausage is lightly browned.
- Add beans, tomatoes and juice, water, bouillon and Italian seasonings; stir to break up tomatoes. Bring mixture to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low; cook, stirring occasionally, for 10 to 15 minutes or until most of liquid is absorbed
