Creamy Beef Tacos
Cream cheese, mild green chiles and seasoned ground beef form the basis of these savory tacos. Lettuce, tomato, sour cream and onions add more flavor, crispness and texture to these savory bites.
Recipe Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef
3/4 cup water
1 (1.25-ounce) package taco seasoning mix
1 (7-ounce) can diced green chiles
1 cup medium taco sauce
1 (3-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 (12-count) package taco shells, warmed
Suggested Toppings: shredded lettuce, chopped tomato, sliced green onions, sour cream
Cooking Directions:
- Brown beef; drain. Stir in water and seasoning mix. Bring to a boil; reduce heat to low. Add cream cheese, chiles, taco sauce and cream cheese; stir until cream cheese is melted.
- Fill taco shells with beef mixture. Top with lettuce, tomato, green onions and sour cream.
