Add a fun mini-spin to your next burger feast.
1 pound lean ground beef
1 package dry onion soup mix
1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
10 dinner rolls, sliced
Suggested Condiments: pickles, Swiss cheese, mayonnaise mixed with hot pepper sauce, barbecue sauce, and sautéed mushrooms
- Mix 1 (2.4-ounce) package dry onion soup mix with ground beef. Stir in shredded cheese.
- Make small patties, approximately 2 1/2 inches in diameter.
- Grill, or broil, over medium-high heat approximately 4 minutes per side, until meat thermometer registers internal temperature of 160ºF (70ºC).
- Place in sliced dinner rolls. Serve with your choice or suggested condiments.
Makes 5 (2 mini burger) servings; or 10 appetizer servings.
