Ortega Beef Burrito
These quick and easy burritos, a complete meal wrapped in a tortilla, are sure to please.
1 pound ground beef
1 1/3 cups water
1 (1.5-ounce) package ORTEGA® Taco Seasoning Mix
1 (15-ounce) can pinto beans, drained and rinsed (optional)
8 (10-inch) flour tortillas
Shredded cheddar cheese
Sliced black olives
Sliced or diced avocado
Lime wedges for squeezing
- Brown beef; drain. Stir in water, seasoning mix and beans, if using. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low; cook for 3 to 4 minutes or until mixture thickens.
- Spread 1/2 cup beef mixture on each tortilla. Top with desired amounts of suggested toppings and fold into burritos.
Makes 8 servings.
