These easy-to-make, decorated brownie 'eggs' will be a big hit with young and old alike.
Recipe Ingredients:
1 (21-ounce) package brownie mix
1 egg-shaped cookie cutter
1 can white frosting
Assorted decorating gels
Assorted candies
Cooking Directions:
- Heat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line 13x9x2-inch baking pan with foil, with ends of foil extending over sides of pan. Grease foil.
- Prepare brownie mix according to package directions and spread into prepared pan.
- Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out with moist crumbs. (Do not over bake.) Cool in pan. Run knife around edge of pan to loosen brownies from sides. Lift brownies from pan, using foil handles. Place brownies on cutting board.
- Remove foil and cut brownies using egg-shaped cookie cutter. Frost each egg and decorate with decorating gels and candies to resemble Easter eggs.
Make 12 to 16 eggs, depending on size of cookie cutter.
