Transform a round layer cake into a display of fall colors. The use of a ready-made frosted cake makes this recipe perfect when you need a Halloween dessert party on the fly!
1 (2-layer) package cake mix, any flavor
Homemade or purchased chocolate frosting
- Prepare chocolate layer cake according to package directions; fill and frost with chocolate frosting. (Or, purchase a ready-made frosted 2-layer cake.)
- Trim lollipop sticks so the candy portion just peeks out over the edge of the cake. Remove wrappers and press into the side of the cake.
Makes about 12 servings.
