Peanutty Valentine Cookies
Tempt your sweetheart this Valentine's Day with these peanut butter Valentine cookies.
36 NESTLÉ BUTTERFINGER Hearts or NESTLÉ CRUNCH Hearts*, unwrapped
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine, softened
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Beat granulated sugar, brown sugar, butter and peanut butter in large mixer bowl until combined; beat in egg and vanilla extract. Beat in flour and baking soda.
- Drop dough by rounded tablespoon into ungreased mini-muffin cups.
- Bake for 8 to 10 minutes. Remove from oven; gently press 1 Nestlé Heart into each cup. Cool in pans on wire racks for at least 10 minutes. Remove cookies from muffin cups with a butter knife. Serve warm or cool completely on wire racks.
Makes 36 cookies.
