I'll Have More "Swirled" Ice Cream Pie
With ice cream nestled between scrumptious layers of pure peanut butter and peanut butter and milk chocolate morsels, this chilled delight is sure to have all your guests asking for more.
1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons creamy peanut butter - divided use
1 prepared 8-inch (6 ounces) chocolate crumb crust
1 cup (6 ounces) NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® SWIRLED™ Milk Chocolate & Peanut Butter Morsels - divided use
1 quart (4 cups) vanilla or chocolate ice cream, slightly softened
1/4 cup chopped peanuts
- Spread 1/4 cup peanut butter over bottom of crust. Sprinkle with 2/3 cup morsels. Place small scoops of ice cream over morsels. Freeze for a few minutes if ice cream becomes too soft.
- Place remaining 2 tablespoons peanut butter in small, heavy-duty plastic bag. Microwave on HIGH (100%) power for about 20 seconds or until soft, kneading until smooth. Cut a small hole in corner of bag; squeeze to drizzle over ice cream. Sprinkle peanuts and remaining morsels over top of pie. Cover; freeze for 2 hours or until firm.
- Remove pie from freezer and allow to stand at room temperature for about 20 minutes or until just soft enough to cut.
