Cinnamon Pecan Pie
A Southern classic, pecan pie is given a kiss of cinnamon and a graham cracker crust in this recipe.
7 tablespoons butter, melted
2 large eggs
1/3 cup heavy cream
1/3 cup dark corn syrup
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 cup chopped pecans
1 (8-inch) graham cracker crust
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine cooled butter, eggs, cream, dark corn syrup, salt, cinnamon, and brown sugar. Mix well; add pecans. Pour into graham cracker pie crust; place on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 30 minutes, or until browned and puffy.
Makes 8 servings.
