Creamy Cheese Pie

No recipe image available.Easy creamy cheesecake pie with a kiss of almond flavoring.

Recipe Ingredients:

For Crust:
1 cup graham cracker crumbs
1/4 cup butter, melted

For Filling:
2 large eggs
1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/8 teaspoon almond extract
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups sour cream

Ready-made fruit pie filling for accompaniment (optional)

Cooking Directions:

  1. For Crust: Mix crumbs and butter thoroughly. Press on bottom and sides of 9 inch glass pie plate. Microwave on high for 1 1/2 minutes. Cool.
  2. For Filling: Combine all filling ingredients except sour cream in mixing bowl. Beat until smooth. Stir in sour cream. Microwave on low 10 minutes, stirring every 2 minutes. Pour into prepared crust.
  3. Microwave on low 6 to 8 minutes or until center is set. Chill thoroughly.
  4. Serve plain or top with prepared fruit-pie filling.

Makes 8 servings.
