Boston Butt Roast

Recipe Ingredients:

5 pounds boston pork butt
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

Cooking Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine seasonings in a small bowl and rub evenly over roast.
  3. Roast, uncovered, 30 to 35 minutes per pound, until internal temperature is 160°F (71.1°C).
  4. Let stand 10 to 15 minutes out of oven. Slice or chop to serve.

Makes 6 servings.
