Ham BBQ

No recipe image available.Here's something different and tasty to do with leftover holiday ham. A delectable mixture of sautéed onions, bell peppers and leftover ham are dressed in an easy homemade barbecue sauce and served on French rolls.

Recipe Ingredients:

1 onion, chopped
1 green bell pepper, chopped
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons prepared mustard
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons firmly packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon salt
3/4 tomato cup ketchup
3 to 4 cups chopped, cooked ham
4 French bread rolls, split, buttered and toasted

Cooking Directions:

  1. In a medium skillet over medium heat with butter; sauté chopped onion and chopped green bell pepper, until tender. Add in prepared mustard, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, salt, and ketchup. Reduce to low and simmer about 20 minutes.
  2. Stir in chopped ham, mixing well.
  3. Spoon onto toasted French bread rolls and serve.

Makes 4 servings.
