Honey Dijon Pasta & Ham
The sweetness of honey and tanginess of Dijon mustard balance each other in this quick and easy entreé, ready to eat in under 30 minutes.
Recipe Ingredients:
8 ounces uncooked farfalle (bow tie) pasta
2 cups sour cream
1/4 cup Dijon mustard
2 tablespoons honey
2 cups cooked ham, cubed
2 tablespoons finely chopped green onion
1 (16-ounce) package frozen vegetable combination (broccoli, carrots and cauliflower)
Cooking Directions:
- Cook pasta according to directions. Drain.
- Meanwhile, combine sour cream, mustard and honey in a small bowl; mix well. Set aside.
- Place ham and onion in 12-inch nonstick skillet. Cook over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, until ham is lightly browned (3 to 4 minutes). Add vegetables. Continue cooking, stirring occasionally, until vegetables are crisply tender (5 to 7 minutes).
- Reduce heat to medium-low. Add cooked pasta and sour cream mixture; stir gently to coat. Cook until heated through (1 to 2 minutes).
Makes 6 servings.
