Smoked Ham with Cranberry Chutney
This is an ideal recipe for the holidays for the busy cook. The cranberry chutney (a spiced fruit relish) takes very little effort to prepare, yet is big on taste and makes a wonderful accompaniment with baked ham.
Recipe Ingredients:
1 (4 to 6-pound) boneless, fully-cooked smoked ham
1 (16-ounce) can whole-berry cranberry sauce
1 (8 1/4-ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained
1 (5-ounce) bottle prepared horseradish
Cooking Directions:
- Place ham in shallow roasting pan.
- Roast, uncovered, in a 325°F (160°C). oven for 1 to 1 1/2 hours, or until meat thermometer registers 140°F (60°C). Remove from oven, slice thinly to serve.
- Meanwhile, combine remaining ingredients in medium bowl. Transfer to serving bowl, serve immediately or cover and chill until serving.
- Serve chutney alongside ham.
